What does Five Star do?
5 Star provides a valuable service to Schools, booster clubs, students, parents and businesses across the country. Our services include digital and print promotional products such as schedule posters, coupon books and websites. These products and services serve the dual purpose of promoting and financially supporting the Schools while at the same time providing advertisers an attractive avenue to advertise. Simply put, we connect communities and athletics!
How many products do you print each season?
Schedule Posters – We print several hundred posters each season. A minimum of 200 copies are sent to the school and at least 2 are sent to each sponsor.
Schedule Cards – We print 1,000 schedule cards each season that are split up amongst the school and the sponsors.
Magnets – We print seasonal orders of either 100 or 200 to be sent to the sponsors. Higher amounts may be requested.
How are the products distributed?
Every seasonal poster sponsor will receive at least 2 copies and the school will receive a large batch of at least 200 posters to distribute however they see fit. The schedule cards are divided amongst the school and the sponsors as well.
Is Five Star working directly with the school on this project?
Yes we are! Five Star Sports works directly with an authorized representative of every school we represent. Each has signed a contract authorizing our company to provide these products as a promotion for their school’s athletic programs. Any other companies claiming to provide similar services may be doing so without the school’s authorization. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the school directly.
When is my payment due?
After you have set up your sponsorship you will receive an invoice instantly via email or by mail within a few days. This invoice will show the payment due date that you and your representative have set for your account. This is typically within 30 days of the date of purchase. It is imperative that we receive prompt payment so that the sponsorship funds may be available for the school.
Why do you have a 14 day no cancellation policy?
We invest a substantial amount of time into ad sales and creation of custom artwork through both sponsor advertisements and product design. Ad cancellations cause the need for procurement of new sponsors to replace existing and can be detrimental to meeting the school’s fundraising goals.
How do I submit my ad copy?
To ensure the quality and consistency of your ad, send all content by e-mail or standard mail. Please do not fax. Faxing will distort ad images. Please send high resolution (300 dpi) images. The preferred file formats are: .jpg, .pdf, .doc, .pub, .eps, .gif, .png, or .tiff. Once we receive your ad copy, images, and/or logo, our professional designers will begin building your ad to the specifications of the size you purchased. Why do you call so far in advance?
It takes a substantial amount of time to produce our print products. We dedicate anywhere from 3-6 months for ad sales and design so that we have enough time to gather all of the necessary materials to deliver the products on time each season.
I would like to advertise with my local school but you all do not currently have that account. What can I do?
Let us know which school it is and we will make every effort to obtain the account! We are always looking to grow our family of partner schools.
